Getting physically active is the key to relieving stress from your regular day.
At Palmetto Martial Arts, our workouts are geared towards students of any age, size, and ability. You will enjoy our up-to-date classes fun-filled drills and exercises that are sure to get your energy levels up. Classes increase your stamina, muscle strength, and coordination all while learning self-defense skills that could one day save you or your family.
With the rising crime rate in today’s society, it’s important to learn self-defense techniques to stop a fight before it happens or finish it quickly if it does.
Classes include gun and knife self-defense techniques as well as traditional hand to hand techniques. Our instructors are always willing to stay after class and help you with whatever you need. Come and try our two week introductory class and see what Palmetto is all about.
Teenagers need a healthy outlet to relieve the stress and anxiety brought on by everyday peer pressure and the general confusion of adolescence. Encouraging your teen to participate in a constructive extracurricular activity will help keep your mind at ease knowing they’re in a safe and healthy environment.
Palmetto Martial Arts provides a safe place for your teenager that provides both mental and physical benefits. We encourage healthy relationships with peers while also promoting supportive friendships. Our evening classes are packed with teens and adults of all ages, giving students the opportunity to make lasting relationships with people their own age while being positively influenced by the adults taking class alongside them.
At the closing of the adult class, devotions are given based on life lessons that are filled with stories from personal life, family experiences, and current events while tying everything together with biblical values.

In Taekwondo, students are taught how to help each other out in class. Whether that be to help hold boards to break or targets for you to kick even to being sparring partners. By creating a bond of trust and reciprocation, you and your sparring partner can then practice various kicking combinations on each other and see how to make things work.
